Buy Now Pay Later “BNPL” facilities are a form of credit or debt.

As a broker it is common for people not to disclose these facilities or they simply don’t consider them as a form of debt.

There are limited background checks to obtain BNPL. This is part of the reason they have such a negative opinion. Too many people have gained access to BNPL that would not normally qualify.

They are also one of the key drivers of financial hardship.

BNPL is now linked to your credit report. Any hiccups will cause issues on your credit report.
